Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of systematic nursing intervention in general anesthesia patients with indwelling catheter in the operating room .Methods Two hundred and twelve general anesthesia patients from October 2011 to April 2013 were chosen and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group , each with 106 cases.The control group received the routine catheterization method , and the observation group received the comprehensive nursing intervention on the basis of routine catheterization before anesthesia .The incidence rate of restlessness during the recovery period , and the incidence of the stimulation reaction of catheter at the final stage of recovery and the 12 h after operation were compared between two groups.Results In the observation group , the incidence rate of restlessness during the recovery period was 29.25%, and the incidence of the stimulation reaction of catheter at the final stage of recovery and the 12 h after operation were respectively 68.87% and 40.57%, and were lower than 80.19%, 91.51%, 83.96% in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =13.347,8.236,12.257, respectively;P〈0.01).Conclusions Nursing intervention can significantly improve the operation room of general anesthesia indwelling catheter in patients with agitation recovery period , should be in clinical use .
