Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of 3D patch in laparoscopic totally extraperitoneal (TEP) inguinal hernia repair. Methods The clinical data of 92 patients with inguinal hernia treated in Gaotang County People's hospital from October 2015 to October 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were treated with TEP repair. According to the different patches used during the operation, they were divided into the observation group (n=46) and the control group (n=46). The hernia defect was repaired by ordinary patch in the control group, while 3D patch was used in the observation group. The patients in the two groups were followed up regularly for 6 months after operation. The therapeutic effect and postoperative rehabilitation between the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in blood loss and operation time between the two groups (P>0.05), but the time of getting out of bed and hospitalization time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P 0.05). Conclusion The application of 3D patch in laparoscopic TEP inguinal hernia repair can significantly promote the rehabilitation of patients, shorten the time of hospitalization and out of bed, and improve the therapeutic effect.
