Abstract
This paper takes Heilongjiang Z Company as a case study to explore the application and challenges of the Six Sigma methodology in the supply chain quality management of the specialty wax industry. Initially, the paper analyzes the background and current situation of the specialty wax industry, highlighting challenges in supply chain management such as unstable raw material supply, low production efficiency, lax quality control, and slow market response. Subsequently, it outlines the Six Sigma methodology and provides a detailed account of how Heilongjiang Z Company has utilized Six Sigma to optimize raw material procurement, enhance product quality and production efficiency, and strengthen market adaptability. Through the Six Sigma implementation process comprising Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control phases, the paper demonstrates how Z Company has reduced delays in raw material supply and production downtime, thereby cutting costs, increasing customer satisfaction, and boosting market competitiveness. Ultimately, the paper concludes that the Six Sigma methodology can effectively improve the efficiency of supply chain management in the specialty wax industry and offers suggestions for improvement strategies for other companies within the sector.
