Abstract

A simple method is proposed for defining the parameters of current–voltage characteristics (CVCs) of hard superconductors, which is based on measuring the relaxation of magnetization. In this method, the inhomogeneity of the spatial distribution of the electric field and current density is taken into account. The limits of applicability of the power-law CVC are evaluated by comparing the experimental data with the results of numerical calculations.
