Abstract
The paper offers an analysis of some of the peculiarities associated with the application of the microwaves (MW) for non-destructive testing (NDT) of composite materials used in the aerospace industry. Special attention is paid to the influence of the compound of the materials of which are made composites, their shape and structure on reflection, refraction and attenuation of electromagnetic waves.
