Abstract

Abstract Summer use of NC21314 alone, in combination with Carzol, and Carzol and Plictran were evaluated in an apple block at Steeles Tavern. Plots consisted of four, single-tree replicates per treatment in a randomized complete block design, using cultivars ‘Delicious’, ‘Golden Delicious’, ‘Stayman’ and ‘York’. Spray dates were 15 May, 11 Jul, 16 Aug and 28 Aug. Applications were made with a truck-mounted Swanson sprayer with a handgun attachment. Mites were evaluated using a leaf-brushing machine and 20 leaves per replicate.
