Abstract
Abstract Treatments of two oil formulations along with standard and experimental acaricide sprays were applied to York apples with a Bean, 35 gal per minute hydraulic sprayer at 540 psi to single tree plots replicated 5 times. The oils were applied on April 22. The 7E is the commercial 70 second viscosity superior oil. The 7E TW is a more refined, near technical white, 70 second viscosity oil. A concentrate 7E application was made on the following day. On April 25 at pre-pink stage the additional acaricides were applied. A standard spray program utilizing Captan, Sulfur, Karathane, Agri-strep, and Zolone was utilized during the test period.
