Abstract

Abstract Insecticides were applied to mature trees in Douglas, MI (‘D’ Block) at a rate of 150 gal/acre with a CP 3000 airblast sprayer. Treatments were arranged as completely randomized units consisting of single trees replicated 4 times. Applications of materials were made on 2, 15 and 22 Jul. Streptomycin, Dithane, Captan and Nova were applied separately to all treatments. A terminal evaluation was made on 7 Aug by randomly selecting 50 terminals per tree (200 per treatment) and counting terminals with leafroller larvae or feeding damage. A harvest fruit evaluation was made on 10 Sep with 100 fruit taken randomly from the periphery of the tree (400 per treatment) and inspected for leafroller damage.
