Background and Aims: Background: In cholesterol guidelines, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) remains the primary target while apolipoprotein B(apoB) and non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(non-HDL-C) are secondary targets. Aims: Are elevated apoB and/or non-HDL-C superior to elevated LDL-C in identifying statin-treated patients at residual risk of all-cause mortality and myocardial infarction(MI)?
