Abstract

This research related to multicultural perspective based learning in primary school Muhammadiyah 3 Palu. The purpose of this study was (1) to know the classroom teaching activities in implementing multicultural values in SD Muhammadiyah 3 Palu, (2) to describe the implementation of teacher classroom performance in internalizing multicultural values in SD Muhammadiyah 3 Palu. (3) to describe the influence of applying learning multicultural values in SD Muhammadiyah 3 Palu. The research used qualitative research method referring to the second quadrant of Ritzer social paradigm, that is micro - subjective quadrant, to view a social interaction (either in person or in group), particularly the teachers and students behav ior during the instructional process in the classroom. The output showed that the teachers of Muhammadiyah 3 elementary school in Palu made instructional plan in the form of syllabi and lesson plans in each subject by incorporating multicultural values, in the form of Lesson Plan (RPP) integrating Contextual Thematic multicultural values . The implementation of multicultural visioned learning in SD Muhammadiyah 3 Palu run by contri-buting to students, among others; creating fun learning atmosphere, including yells before and after learning. This was really meaningful and beneficial and the students run it enthusiasticly. Keywords: Learning, Multicultural, SD Muhammadiyah 3 Palu.
