Abstract
This paper presents the proposal to develop a mobile application to evaluate the accessibility of Learning Objects (LOs), applying Artificial Intelligence techniques, more specifically an Expert System (ES). The main objective was the development ofa prototype that will assess the accessibility of LOs in text format, initially in PDF and ePub formats, based on guidelines and recommendations that will be stored in the ES knowledge base. The methodology used in the development of the work will be the dissertation-project. As results, it is expected that the application can allow the registration of different LOs and define the level of accessibility of them.
