Abstract

Pain is considered a subjective, complex and unpleasant multidimensional experience, which can cause physical and emotional harm in human beings. In addition to allopathic, there are tools that have analgesic therapeutic potential, helping to relieve pain symptoms, one of them is Medicinal Biomagnetism (BM), a technique that uses Static Magnetic Fields (SMFs) generated by therapeutic magnets externally to the body on Biomagnetic Pairs (PBMs). By applying CMEs through the BM, the pH tends to return to its ideal value, optimizing the immunological action and of other systems allowing the restoration of health. It is a non-invasive technique, with few restrictions for application and painless. This work is a descriptive bibliographic review, with a qualitative and exploratory approach and aims to present a BM protocol for analgesia purposes, using the application of a Double Magnet as a treatment tool. BM has been proving to be a promising technique for relieving pain of the most diverse origins, and it is necessary to deepen the knowledge of the bases of BM through scientific studies. In this sense, it is expected that the technique can become a complementary and low-cost therapeutic alternative for the treatment of pain in general.
