Abstract
Abstract The study was conducted on mature ‘Stuart’ trees at the LSU Pecan Research-Extension Station, Shreveport, Louisiana. A randomized block design was used consisting of 3 blocks, with 1 tree per treatment, per block. Pretreatment counts were made on 26 Jul. Applications of foliar applied materials were made on 27 Jul, using an FMC 957 speed sprayer delivering 30 gal of finished material per tree. Aphid counts were made on 30 Jul. Sampling consisted of counting the number of aphids—both nymphs and adults—on 10 compound leaves per tree.
