Abstract

The antioxidant and light protective properties of piperidinoxyl radicals and screened piperidines have been investigated in thermal and light induced oxidant of polypropylene. It has been shown that the antioxidant effect of the biradicals increases as the distance between the NO· groups decreases and as the number of paramagnetic centres in the inhibitor molecule increases. The light protective properties of piperidinoxyls and screened piperidines have been investigated.
