Abstract

SummaryTissue fixed globulin has been demonstrated in interstitial tissue and basement membranes of various guinea pig organs following inoculation of guinea pigs with saline extracts of rabbit tendon. These animals had a significantly diminished growth. It is likely that the fixed globulin represents “auto-antibody” induced by heterologous antigen.
