Abstract

This research aims to probe the factors that influence patients' adoption of IoT for Healthcare 4.0. A research framework based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) has been developed by endorsing six hypotheses. A sample of 290 patients is used to determine the purpose of using IoT gadgets in the clinical background. A conceptual model was built with 29 manifests to achieve the study's objectives. This paper measures how PLS-SEM has been used in IoT healthcare research to provide meaningful guidance and potential developments of these devices. Because SEM in e-health management is still in its early stages, examining its usages holds significance for stabilizing applications that may strengthen over time. Thus, the current study results can be substantial, with theoretical research and practical implications. The study may yield an advanced insight which may benefit various stakeholders. This research could help inventors, medical specialists, and IoT marketers to improve healthcare services for caring for new-age patients.
