Abstract
Adiantum aleuticum (Rupr.) C.A.Paris, the western maidenhair fern, was discovered in June 2022 in a basement light shaft in Ettelbruck, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The present paper relates the first discovery of this exotic garden escaped fern in Luxembourg. Identification was based on morphological traits and DNA barcoding.
