Abstract

The temperature dependence of the Young modulus C 33 E and of the polarization relaxation time in KD 2PO 4 are determined below the transition temperature. The results are compared with the corresponding data in KH 2PO 4, obtained by similar measurements. The striking difference between the “Curie constants” associated with the relaxation time is confirmed.
