Abstract

In this work the new precise method for describing the temperature dependences of glass formers which is based on the use of the power law function (JNCS 555 (2021) 120618) is proposed. Analysis of practical temperature dependences using the proposed method made it possible to detect subtle anomalies of fragile relaxation which cannot be detected by other means. Three different types of anomalies were found: cluster-to-cluster (CTC), fragile-to-fragile (FTF), and strong-to-fragile (STF) transitions. The CTC and FTF transitions are described for the first time. The CTC transition is accompanied by changes in activation energy with constant fragility; FTF transition due to changes in fragility and activation energy, as well as the STF transition. The processes occurring in the vicinity of transition points are explained from the point of view of the cluster model.
