Abstract

Anode-supported planer-type SOFCs are promising for clean power- generating system with high efficiency. We have developed a metallic separator, a sealing method and a cell-separator connecting method all of which are suitable for anode-supported planar-type cells. Using these technologies, we have achieved power density of up to 0.6W/cm2 and cell DC electric efficiency of 53% in LHV on both one- and three-cell stack units.
