Abstract
Research Article| July 01 2019 Annabel Carey-Prescott: African American Educator and Chicago Leader John S. Burger John S. Burger John S. Burger received an M.A. in African American history in 1973 from Roosevelt University. He obtained an M.S.W. from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1979, and did course work in sociology at Loyola University Chicago. He worked as a social worker with children for twenty-three years. He has published numerous history articles in national and international journals.
