Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this article is to determine the static analysis of a multi-family dwelling located in the town of Chanchamayo, for the identification of the structural system. Method: The analysis was applied to a 3-story reinforced concrete building. The methodology is descriptive, where it consists of determining the percentage of the Basal shear, which will allow us to evaluate the type of structure that will be carried out that acts on the structural elements such as columns and shear walls of the structure, from this it will be identified the structural system of the building. The parameters for the development of the exercise are based on the E.030 Seismic Resistant Design standard. Results: The Basal shear was obtained, resulting in 29.7916 tn for the “Y” axis and 34.0475 tn for the “X” axis. These results were provided with the modeling of the structure in the ETABS18 software. Conclusion: It is concluded that the multifamily dwelling located in the city of Chanchamayo has shear walls that represent 94.12% of the basal shear in the "Y" axis, therefore, the structural system is a Structural Wall.
