Abstract
Este artigo versa sobre a Análise de Discurso Textualmente Orientada, vertente da Análise do Discurso Crítica, proposta por Norman Fairclough, com a concepção de que o discurso se instaura pelo investimento da linguagem por uma prática social, e que foi largamente divulgada pela professora doutora Regina Célia Pagliuchi da Silveira, em São Paulo. O modelo de análise atende a uma tripla dimensão, em que texto, prática discursiva e prática social se articulam, interdependentemente, para a descrição a interpretação e a avaliação da constituição ideológica e hegemônica da linguagem e do discurso.
