Abstract

The constant renewal of science demands continued studies that reflect an updated science scenario. Additionally, studies about grant holders allows to observe production trends and that researchers to be understand the process. This work analized the technical-scientific production of grant holders of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), in physical education area, in quadrennium 2013-2016. For this, we accounted indicators of technical-scientific production of the 91 grant holders in physical education area. We found that: the average of publication in article form (67,02) was significantly higher than all other types of scientific production (p<0,05); the publication in article form was the most relevant variable to predict scientific production (b 0,654; t 277945913,723; p<0,001); the publication in books form was significantly lower than all other types of scientific production (p<0,05); the average of publication in articles with JCR (22,38) was significantly higler (p<0,001) than articles of groups 1 (Qualis A1 e A2-10,28), 2 (Qualis B1 e B2-7,92), 3 (Qualis B3, B4 e B5-1,68) e 4 (Qualis C e N/C-1,58); the average of publication in articles of group 1 (Qualis A1 e A2-10,28) was significantly higler than groups 3 (Qualis B3, B4 e B5-1,68) e 4 (Qualis C e N/C-1,58). We concluded that grant holders in physical education area period 2013-2016 published their articles in high-level journals.
