Abstract

Introduction: WordPress is a popular content management system known for its versatility and user-friendliness. This study presents the integration of Tematres software, used for creating controlled vocabularies, with WordPress, aiming to enhance metadata quality and system integration through plugins. Methodology: This study offers a solution through the development of a plugin, following the traditional research model and aligning with the principles of the software and information systems to be integrated, considering complexities and a tripartite conceptual model. Results: As a result, the study presents a plugin that enables integration between WordPress and the Tematres API, enabling the association of native WordPress tags to the terms available in Tematres, guaranteeing the normalization of contents in this field. Conclusion: The integration of TemaTres and WordPress through a customized plugin enhances the usability and functionality of WordPress, enabling transparent management of controlled vocabularies and efficient content organization
