Abstract

Results of the theoretical and numerical analysis of orientation dependences for velocities and electromechanical coupling coefficients (EMCC) KD and KE for the longitudinal and shear acoustic waves propagating in the (100), (010) and (001) crystallographic plane of the crystals with symmetry mm2 and 4mm are presented. We have obtained that the EMCC KE and KD are comparable to their value in every from these crystals. The optimal conditions for surface excitation of acoustic waves in these crystals were found.
