Abstract

We discuss, from the results of finite elements micromagnetic simulations, the remanence acquisition process taking place in Fe nano-prisms having triangular bases and incorporating non-zero magnetocrystalline anisotropy. Our conclusions include the identification of the occurrence of large remanences when the applied field is oriented along a direction for which a magnetocrystalline easy direction approximately balances a configurational hard one. Those remanences are adequate to implement magnetostatic interactions based applications.
