Abstract
The aim of this article is to prove Poincare-type inequalities concerning functions in Sobolev spaces with anisotropic weights that appear in the investigation of the Oseen equations. The inequalities are a generalization and an extension of inequalities we established in a previous work. As an application, we derive existence result and anisotropically weighted Lp estimates for the pressure of the Oseen problem in ℝ3. (© 2006 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
