Abstract

The anisotropic plasma screening effects on the low-energy electron-ion Coulomb bremsstrahlung process are investigated in magnetized anisotropic plasmas in the presence of an external magnetic field. The impact-parameter analysis is applied to the motion of the projectile electron in order to investigate the variation of the bremsstrahlung cross section as a function of the impact parameter, Debye length, radiation photon energy, and external magnetic field. It is found that the magnetic field effect significantly enhances the bremsstrahlung radiation cross section. The magnetic field effects on the bremsstranlung radiation cross section are found to be increased with increasing the impact parameter. It is also found that the magnetic field effects decrease with increasing the radiation photon energy.
