Abstract

A technique has been evolved which employs a semiconductr Δ E- E detector telescope to extract the angular information of the incident particle with respect to the telescope axis. It has been tested by demonstrating the isotropicity of the angular distribution of the long-range alpha particles emitted in thermal neutron induced fission of 235U. The angular distribution of long-range alpha particles emitted in 200 keV neutron induced fission of 235U has also been measured by this technique.
