Abstract
An overview is given of the angular distribution of Auger electrons following photoionization in atoms. Emphasis is placed upon experiments observing Auger electrons alone and in coincidence with the primary ejected photoelectron, first within the two-step model, and finally for some cases which go beyond this model.
