Abstract
Anisotropy of the angular distribution of Auger electrons induced by photoionization or photoexcitation of inner atomic shells is discussed. Recent calculations of normal and resonant Auger transitions are compared with experimental data. Resonance photoionization of laser excited and aligned atoms is considered. Coincidence measurements of the angular correlation between photo and Auger electrons are discussed as well as spin polarization of Auger electrons produced in photoionization by circularly polarized light.
