Abstract

The coercive field J H c dependence on the angle Θ between external magnetic field and easy direction of magnetization in Sm–Fe–N permanent magnets with grain diameter 0.97 μm are analyzed within the framework of theoretical results for pinning and nucleation models. The results have proved that the coercive field in Sm–Fe–N magnets is associated with the mechanism of reversed domain nucleation.
