Abstract

Lesions at the bifurcation of the left main stem (LM) are dangerous lesions, accounting for about 4-8% of cases of coronary artery disease. Therefore, there is a need for a study that summarizes the anatomical characteristics and the lesion characteristics of LM to help the cardiologist during the procedure. By cross-sectional descriptive study, we have obtained the following results: The length of LM is 4.2 ± 1.5 (mm) with a diameter of 4.2 ± 1.5 (mm), the mean angle between LAD and LCx is 60.8 ± 5.8o, the diameter of LAD is 3.51 ± 0.3 (mm), the diameter of the LCx is 3.30 ± 0.4 (mm), the dimension is the length of LAD lesion is 30.9 ± 14.4 (mm), the length of the LCx lesion is 28 ± 11.6 (mm).
