Abstract

Abstract When interpreting radioisotope scans, it is occasionally desirable to accurately relate the scan to anatomic structures. The authors describe a method for simultaneously generating conventional photoscan and a “radiophotoscan,” i.e., a single film containing both radiographic image and photoscan accurately positioned relative to each other. Conventional x-ray equipment and the Picker 3-inch or 5-inch magna-scanner, with no significant modification, are utilized.
