Abstract

Analytical expressions of control laws for a linearized model of short-period longitudinal motion of a third-order unmanned aerial vehicle are obtained. The synthesis is based on the original decomposition of the control object and the method of modal state-based control of a dynamic system, previously developed on its basis. The numerical modeling results of the aircraft short-period longitudinal motion control by using analytically synthesized control laws, which are graphs of transient processes and control actions, are presented. Keywords decomposition, modal synthesis, longitudinal short-period motion of an aircraft, poles of a dynamic system
