Abstract

At present time the field of wireless communication is developing very fast .With the development wireless communication field has been demanded more compact size devices that can fabricate more IC within short space. Due to this, antenna designers are paying more attention on microstrip patch antenna for its several benefits such as compact size, low profile, High reliability, low cost etc. With such benefits MPA has demerits Too. Lower bandwidth is the major disadvantage. Due to these antenna designers is paying more focus in designing compact size broadband antenna. For enhancing the bandwidth of the MPA multiple methods are introduced in the last decade literal analysis. The motive of this paper work is to demonstrate a survey on various bandwidth enhancement techniques bandwidth enhancement of MPA namely as slot technique, air gap technique, multiple radiating element technique,, parasitic patch technique,, multiple feeding technique, proximity couple technique and make comparative analysis between them.
