Abstract

A formula is derived for calculating the first natural frequency of vibrations of a statically determined regular lattice with an arbitrary number of panels and masses uniformly distributed over the nodes. Comparison with the minimum frequency from the numerical solution of the problem of the vibration frequency spectrum of the structure shows the high accuracy of the derived assessment. It is shown that for some number of panels, the design allows for kinematic variability. The influence of the lattice attachment method on the natural frequency is studied.
