Abstract
Analytical techniques utilizing chromatography on asymmetric (chiral) stationary phases have created new possibilities for studies of optical antipodes (enantiomers) at very low concentrations. This is of great significance for a large number of application areas, including determination of optical purity of drugs, studies of particular chiral marker compounds in biological material as well as various kinds of investigations on stereoselective reactions.
