Abstract

Luamala area is in the middle of Lufilian arc and western of copper belt in middle Africa, which is beneficial for ore-forming. Because this area is covered by thick soil and plants, it is difficult to appraise the resources. According to the study of regional mineralization characteristics, it is considered to be a perspective area for exploration of copper and uranium minerals. Two copper anomalies were delineated by soil geochemical survey in a scale of 1∶25000 and a radioactive anomaly was delineated by Radon survey and gamma spectrum survey. This area is considered to be an perspective area with high potential based on geology, geophysical,Geochemical and radiometric survey. No.5 and No.3 anomaly area are preferable targets for prospecting for copper or uranium minerals in depth.
