Abstract

Statistics and analysis indicate that there are many problems to be resolved over the issue of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. These include national policy failing to catch up with development, Chinese and foreign partners disagreeing on the objectives of their cosponsored programs, cooperation being geographically unbalanced, participants and majors being improperly arranged, and cooperation remaining at low levels. Therefore, a series of policies are needed to address such problems and guide cooperation onto a path of positive and sustainable development.
