Abstract

Since the end of 2019, COVID-19 has been causing worldwide pandemic and changing several aspects in human life, especially Indonesian. The emergence of vaccines was a big milestone in the process of solving the pandemic worldwide. In this work, we develop an SIR-based mathematical model with additional multi-staged vaccination in addition to death compartment to study the effect of multi-staged vaccination scheme in Indonesia. The model is analyzed numerically using Python programming language. Furthermore, sensitivity analysis related to the multi-staged vaccination parameters is considered. The results show that wider implementation of vaccination significantly lower the number of active infected individuals.
