Abstract
The work investigates the spatial and temporal variability of the current velocity and its components in the Kerch Strait. The analysis is carried out on a sample for a period of 60 years. The methods of calculating the main metrics, trend analysis and correlation analysis are used. Graphically, the results are presented using the Surfer geographic information system. The assessment of the variability of the current velocity is carried out for the north, central and southern parts of the Kerch Strait, which differ in their local hydrographic features. According to the results of the conducted studies, there is a different variability in each part of the strait, the most constant is the northern part of the strait, the southern and central parts are more variable.
