Abstract
The classification of mounting connections of ship hull structures is presented. The technological features of their assembly and welding are considered, taking into account the conditions of the spatial position and the complexity of access, various poses of the executors of assembly and welding operations with an assessment of labor productivity. The reasons for the need to change the sequence of assembly and welding of connections of ship’s hull structures are specifi ed. Stress state and strength of joints made based on change of assembly and welding sequence were evaluated. Procedure and results of evaluation of residual welding stresses at traditional and changed sequence of assembly and welding operations are described. Data on strength and operability of connections of ship hull structures under action of stretching and bending cyclic load are given.
