Abstract
The article presents the results of analysis of the five most likely scenarios for the unstable market situation development, which may need to be outsourced. Automotive production is considered as an operating environment, including individual parts or assemblies which can be outsourced or manufactured on their own. Scenario analysis was carried out by means of simulation modeling which allowed us to calculate a range of performance indicators which served as the basis for making a decision on the expediency of switching to outsourcing.
