Abstract

Wechat as an emerging social media network, has the characteristics of delivering content in a timely manner, richness in content, convenient and unobstructed transmission channels, communication effect with personality and intelligence. It has an positive effect on medical humanities education, mainly to learn in a mobile learning environment, to strengthen the interaction between teachers and students, students and students; sharing educational resources utilization of public accounts; students and teachers can be equal to participate in the medical humanities education, to jointly promote the development of medical science humanistic education. Meanwhile, Wechat also has the side effects of making medical students excessively depend on Wechat's information and makes them hard to distinguish the true or false information and have to be in a state of blind conformity. Therefore, we must foster its strengths and circumvent weaknesses, and make WeChat truly effective tools to promote the development of medical humanistic education.
