Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of preoperative visit in laparoscopic repair of esophageal hiatal hernia. Methods Statistical analysis 246 patients of laparoscopic repair of esophageal hiatal hernia in our hospital from January 2010 to September 2015, Among them, 140 cases were treated with specialized preoperative visit(experimental group)and 106 cases with routine preoperative visit(control group). Compare the two groups of patients with anxiety one day before operation and nursing satisfaction on the second day after operation. Results The anxiety score of the control group was significantly higher than that of the experimental group [(121.8±28.6) vs(95.7±18.5), t=9.187, P=0.013)]. The nursing satisfaction of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(Z=7.401, P=0.000). Conclusion The implementation of specialist preoperative visit in laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair not only reduces the patient′s burden of thought, but also ensures the smooth operation and improves the nursing satisfaction of operation room.
