Abstract
Introduction. The long-term sustainable functioning of regional socio-economic systems in modern conditions of economic transformation directly depends on the pace, ratio and structural characteristics of regional labor markets. At the same time, in fact, in the regional socio-economic systems of the modern Russian Federation, the functions of the labor market are implemented in most cases not in full and insufficiently effectively. Methods. The research is based on analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, abstraction, critical analysis of special literature, economic and statistical analysis. Results. The analysis of the current state of the regional labor market of the Perm Region is characterized by a number of quantitative and qualitative indicators that influence the trends in labor productivity, the financial and economic efficiency of the functioning of the region's economy and, ultimately, the level and quality of life of the population. Conclusions. The main trends and problems of the development of the regional labor market of the Perm Region (2016-2022) are identified, as well as the directions and problems of its influence on the functioning of the regional economy as a whole.
