Abstract

To satisfy its own economic interests, any manufacturing enterprise directs its financial, material and human resources to the production of such products, which would simultaneously be in demand among consumers and at the same time bring the maximum possible profits to the enterprise and its owners. At the same time, active competition between production enterprises in the conditions of a modern market economy is the most important condition for their existence. And modern world trends in the form of globalization, rapid informatization of business processes and automation of production additionally demand constant adaptation to them from production enterprises. In addition, less predictable factors must be taken into account: epidemics (such as Covid-19), military conflicts, financial crises, etc. The work analyzes the minimally necessary criteria for the successful organization of the production activity of the enterprise. Factors that significantly affect the organization of production activities have been identified. The principles on which the organization of the production activity of the enterprise is based are determined. The considered functions of management of the production activity of the enterprise. The methods used in the management of production activities are presented. The currently existing production models (concepts) have been determined. Possible strategies of production activities are analyzed. The use of models (concepts) and strategies within the framework of the operational management system of the enterprise is considered. A set of necessary economic indicators is proposed, which, in combination with a system of operational management of the enterprise's activities, can ensure the success of production activities. Thus, the principles, concepts, strategies and operational management system of the enterprise discussed above together with an optimally selected set of economic indicators in the process of organizing production determine the success of the enterprise's production activity.
