Abstract

With a view to studying the two-hole states in nuclei, the (π−) reaction on6Li,7Li and12C has been analysed using the two-nucleon absorption model and including the interaction of the outgoing neutrons with the residual nucleus. The calculated recoil momentum and angular-correlation distributions are in satisfactory agreement with the available experimental data.
